interview questions to Mr. Tim Johnson


1-How did you feel about the civil rights Act in 1964 and the voting right Act in 1965?

2-How did people react when they could watch TVs with color?

3-john F. Kennedy was assassinated why do you think and how did you feel about that?

4-Did you agree with the thoughts that Martin Luther King Jr. had, did you see change after his death?

5- How did you feel about the freedom rides do you think what they did was right or no?

6-Where were you when the Vietnam War was taking place? Do you remember any memories?

7- How did you feel about all the technology that was being made during the 60’s?

8- What did Ronald Reagan’s do when he was president?

9- Do you think that the war going on now with the U.S.A and Iraq should be going on?

10-Have you ever been involved in any of the past wars or battles?

11- What did you think about the decision made due to our new president Barak Obama?

Answers: how he felt about theses questions!

1. I felt that the country needed theses Acts because it brought them a better ideal which they were being influence by.
2. I was so happy when we had gotten color TV I was the 1st from all my friends to get one. I remember all my friends coming over in watching my favorite show the name of it “Walt daisy wonderful world of color”
3. I was in the 4th grade in the principle was going around telling the teachers about john F. Kennedy it was shocking I couldn’t believe it! It was crazy!
4. I feel that MLK was one of the world best leaders ever known. His ideals influences the people in the south during this time because they were struggling a lot because they were being control by white people and after MLK did what he did it changed their lives in many different ways.
5. I feel what freedom rides did was the right thing I was friends with one of the people involved in it. He was beaten to death by the police at the age of 20. I didn’t feel that was right!
6. I was never involved in any war or battle but two of my brother were drafted one was in the army and the other in the navy because of their numbers in the lottery. Many people thought the Civil War was a huge mistake so many people died MLK was also against the war!
7. 1980 I remember I had one of the 1st computers ever made. It coast $2000 it was a lot of money but I was lucky to have one!
8. I didn’t really like Ronald Reagan’s because things he did. One of them was that he built a campaign base on people’s race. He also took the country back a long way….I think he was the 2nd worst president after the Civil war!
9. I don’t think the war going on Bush wanted to go to war with Iraq because of evidence that wasn’t real that’s how I feel about it. This has hurt us a lot all the Americans and Iraqis that have died dude to this war going on.

10. I never had been in any war or battle I protested against them!
11. I am very glad with our new president. It was time for a change. I think his a very smart and confident men and he will recovery all the damaged done these past yrs. I’m looking forward in seeing improvement!

I liked the questions you asked Maria. You got some very thoughtful and personal responses, especially the one about the freedom riders as Mr. Johnson knew one of them. Thats pretty cool. I would recommend using spell check, as someone of your sentences contain some errors preventing it from flowing more smoothly. Overall, i think you did a good job, remember to bring in the sheet to get full credit.
